No! We are sorry that at least you must do the minimum deposit amount for the course you want to book in order to secure your place. As we need to make sure about the numbers of people attending at the course in order to prepare the course materials for them. We cannot accept bookings with no deposit fee!
Yes! Australia and New Zealand are deregulated in massage therapy. The Certificate IV is not the minimum certificate to start your massage career/ business. Via our Whole Body Massage Certificate or Certification of Massage Professional also can start your massage career/ business straight, legally, and professionally. The schools should let the inquirers know that there are also certified short massage courses (Career Pathway) in the industry e.g. our 2 day and 3 day courses! We are sorry that some massage schools/ training centre may told you can only practice in Australia and New Zealand by studying the certificate IV, diploma of remedial, and or their short course certificate, it is 100% wrong!!! As long as the short course makes you eligible to apply for the public liability insurance and indemnity insurance you can practice after completion of that short massage course. You can also join the WAFCP, Professional Body for the Professional Membership Certificate and gain the insurance through the WAFCP to start practicing professionally.
No. Our certificates are not diploma of remedial massage or certificate 4. Our certificates are Certification of Massage Professional & Whole Body Massage Certificate. Please, remember the diploma of remedial is a government accredited course and running by the RTOs and we are not RTO. We are an approved training provider (ATP) through Australia and globally. We are sorry that some massage schools/ training centre may told you can only practice in Australia by studying the certificate IV, diploma of remedial, and or their short course certificate, it is 100% wrong!!! Australian massage industry is deregulated and as long as the short course approved by any professional body or association you can practice after completion of that certified short massage course and you can also join that professional body and you can also gain the public liability insurance through that professional body!
No. We do not provide online diploma of remedial massage. Also, if you study Diploma of Remedial Massage completely in online mode or distance learning, you will not be eligible for the private health funds.
No. You cannot get the provider number with our any of our certificates. Provider number also is not compulsory for a massage therapist! But, if you want to get the provider number you will need to study massage therapy courses in RTOs, and after completion of 2-3 years diploma of remedial you can get provider number. There are also some insurance companies that giving provider number with the Cert IV in massage therapy, but only some of them! However, currently insurance companies pay less and less every year and they not pay more than $100-$150 to each customer per year! Also, if the massage treatment doesn’t follow their criteria, they don’t cover too! So, to us a business can’t really base its policy on the risky $100 from an insurance company for per customer per year! Clients need the therapist skills and knowledge rather than $100 discount for whole year. In the past the insurance companies used to pay much more, now they pay $100-$150 per year and if they pay! To us who knows maybe in early future they won’t pay at all! Now, if in case in the future that happens so, what will happen to 2-3 years studying for only getting the provider number/s !!!
